Girl Scout Troop 33607
- Amy Toney, Leader
- Our troop was created in 2005 when the original members were in kindergarten. We were called a "Daisy" troop. The Daisy members bridged to Brownies at summer camp in 2006. We are now first year Juniors with 13 girls in our troop. Our troop is very out doorsy. The girls like to camp, hike, swim, and interact with nature and animals.
Some of our activities:
- Girl Scout summer camp (every year)
- horseback riding
- "The Wilds", a 10,000 acre wildlife safari
- Newport Aquarium field trips
- The Nutcracker Ballet
- CoCoKey Indoor Waterpark Resort
- Kings Island Winterfest
- many camp outs
- bowling field trips
- Halloween Parties
- Father/Daughter dances
- scrap booking party
Ways we've helped:
- Donated supplies to a local homeless shelter.
- Completed a service project at a local homeless shelter.
- Completed a service project for a nearby orphanage.
- Donated supplies to a nearby orphanage.
- Donated supplies to soldiers.
- Donated supplies to local food pantry.
- Donated supplies to a local dog rescue.
- Sang Christmas carols at local nursing home each year.
- Participated in the Morrow Memorial Day parade each year.
