Hi girls! I hope you had a wonderful summer! In October, we’ll start meeting again every first and third Monday at the Morrow United Methodist Church.


ATTENTION: I'VE MADE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE BUS GARAGE SO YOU CAN RIDE BUS 26, THE "LION" BUS TO THE MEETINGS.

Your parents must send a note EVERY TIME or you will not be permitted to ride the “Brownie Bus” to the meeting. Meetings end at 5:00.

Our first field trip is Monday, October 8 (Columbus Day). We'll be visiting the Newport Aquarium with our cookie money from last year, as you have requested. (Limited to three adult chaperones: Amy Toney, Jodi Agricola, and Renae Daku)

Check the schedule below for our upcoming meetings through the end of this year. I've assigned parent helpers to come the same day the Brownie is assigned to bring a snack. By law, there must always be two adults present or the meeting is cancelled, so please plan ahead:

Tell your parents to plan on coming early to our first meeting and staying about 15 minutes to fill out required forms. You won't be able to go on field trips or attend future meetings until you're officially registered and your emergency forms are completed. Registration=$10 Dues=$25. Make checks payable to GSBTC Troop 3607.

We need a Fall Product Sales Manager for our troop:
- Attend Fall Product Sales training Thursday, September 27 from 6:30-7:30 at Faith Lutheran in Wilmington
- Collect orders from girls and submit to council, provide copies to Amy for troop records.

Let Amy know if you’re interested in becoming a co-leader ASAP so she can register you:
- Must attend Brownie Age level training Saturday, September 22, from 2:00-4:00 at the Troop House at Camp WhipPoorWill or Saturday, October 13 at Faith Lutheran, Wilmington from 11:15am-1:15pm.
- Must attend ABC’s for leaders Saturday, October 13 at Faith Lutheran, Wilmington from 9:00-11:00am.
- May attend Troop Camping Certification Course Tuesday, April 22 from 6:30-8:30pm at Wilmington United Methodist Church for planning session and Friday, May 2 through Saturday, May 3 from 7:00pm-4:00pm for Camping Session.
